Common Questions

Contact Us Are your fees covered by Health Insurance?
Fees to cover treatment by Mr Sneddon and any Specialist that we refer patients onto would normally be covered by most health insurance companies. However, at this time, consultations by our Medical Advisor, Dr. Ann Gillespie, are not covered.

Many Complimentary Therapies are covered by some companies. It is always best to check with your insurance company prior to commencing with your treatment.

Do I need my GP's referal prior to attending your clinic?
No, you do not need any referal. With the patient's consent, information may be requested from your GP. However, please note that you must have GP referal if claiming private medical insurance.

Can I receive prescription from your clinic?
Our Medical Advisor can issue a private prescription to members of Fast Track Health, which is paid directly to the Practitioner.

What do I wear during treatment?
Most physical treatment requires the patient to undress down to their underwear. In the case of Thai Massage and Bowen Technique loose clothing is suitable.

Is manipulative treatment painful?
The physical nature of the treatment does cause some initial short term discomfort and later in the same day, patients sometimes feel increased pain due to the release of inflammation essential to their recovery.

How often will I need to attend?
The most difficult question we are asked. It depends on many factors such as whether the condition is acute or chronic, the patient's age, lifestyle, ability to rest, etc.

Often an accurate timing is impossible to give, because everyone heals at different rates.
